I am the Superior Generation of Indonesian Nation
By: Nanda, S.Pd

“No sweet without sweat”, that's the motto in my life. Those words I always remember in reaching dreams. In my opinion, to be successful is not instant. We have to go through a long process with all obstacles. But if we do it all seriously, we will get the best results. I always believe that effort never betrays results. I believe it is not only intelligence that brings success, but also the desire for success, the commitment to work hard, and the courage to believe in your potential. That is what motivated me to realize my dream of being able to study in China. I was born from a simple family in the economic field. My father passed away in 2010, while my mother was only a housewife. For daily needs, my mother depended on my father's retirement salary. During his life, my father was a retired civil servant with a salary that was barely sufficient. My salary from my father's retirement was only enough to meet my daily needs, while for tuition, I had to work hard to be able to continue my studies. This became my motivation to register for the China Scholarship Government scholarship program. Even though the economic situation is not supportive, it is not my reason for not continuing my Masters in China. There were also many reproaches from people around when I heard that I wanted to continue my Masters in China.
They think that the graduate study in China is very expensive and to pass the China Scholarship Government program is not easy, the competition is very tight. But I will prove to them that I can get this scholarship program. I will do my best so that I pass this scholarship program so that I can reach my goals to serve the country after I complete my Masters in China. I also spend my free time learning Mandarin. In my opinion, one of the ways to pass this scholarship program is to learn Mandarin. I have studied Mandarin for a year at the BKPBM Aceh and BPSDM Aceh.

I also have HSK 3 with a score of 219. For me, learning Mandarin is very fun even though Mandarin is very difficult. But that didn't make me stop dreaming of continuing my Masters in China. I was never afraid of dreaming because that fear would only kill more dreams than possible failures. It is not the extent to which we can dream but how far we are trying to make it happen. Therefore, I will try to make it happen. Besides that, I was the best graduate at UIN Ar-Raniry with a GPA of 3.83. I have several achievements both academic and non-academic. Even since I was in elementary school, I had various competitions representing my school. In 2017 I also represented UIN Ar-Raniry in PIONIR VIII 2017 (Scientific Week, Sports, Art, and Research) in the table tennis field.
Besides, in 2019, I was also active in the Muda Seudang organization. The Muda Seudang organization is an association of young Acehnese who cares about Aceh, both in terms of education and social aspects. I care about Indonesian Education, especially Aceh. Therefore, I hope that I can pass the scholarship program so that the knowledge I get in China can be implemented in the advancement of education in Aceh. I would love to learn about the education system and educational technology in China. In my opinion, China is the right country to study educational technology. This is due to the vast development of the technology in China, besides that China's education system is also very good. In my opinion, Indonesia's education curriculum is not suitable for students' needs. This is because students are not included in making the curriculum.
Students have their own expectations regarding what kind of curriculum they want. Besides, the curriculum in Indonesia has not honed students' interests and talents. Students' interests and talents are less developed with the current curriculum because it is full of material. Though, not all material is needed by students. In my opinion, a good curriculum develops interests and talents instead of adding to the burden on students. Sometimes I feel unfair that the teacher only masters one lesson, while students must master all the lessons. On this basis, I applied for the China Government Scholarship program. I am confident that with this scholarship program, I will increase my motivation to achieve my goals and become the next generation of superior people and of good quality.
Therefore, I hope that you can be sure to choose me as the recipient of this scholarship program. As I am sure that I will be the next generation of the nation which is superior and qualified and can actively participate in advancing Indonesian education.
